Total Point Healthcare Enters New Era as Sean Astolfo Acquires 27-Location Network

New ownership advances reopening efforts, secures approximately 20 leases, expands healthcare services, and launches physician and surgeon recruitment across three states

DALLAS, Texas — October 29, 2026 — Healthcare executive Sean Astolfo today announced his acquisition of Total Point Healthcare and its parent companies, bringing the organization's 27-location network across Texas, Missouri, and Arkansas under new ownership. The acquisition marks a significant turning point for Total Point, launching a comprehensive rebuilding initiative focused on reopening facilities, restoring financial stability, expanding medical services, and renewing the company's commitment to the communities it serves.

Founded by entrepreneur Jeff Love, Total Point grew into a regional healthcare network specializing in urgent care and freestanding emergency services. Following the withdrawal of financial support from former investors, the organization faced significant financial and operational challenges that ultimately resulted in facility closures. Throughout those challenges, Love remained committed to preserving the company and its future. Working collaboratively, Love and Astolfo reached a settlement with the former investors, clearing the way for new ownership and a renewed direction. Astolfo, who previously served as Total Point's Chief Operating Officer, now assumes ownership with firsthand knowledge of the company's operations, facilities, and long-term potential.

"Total Point had the locations, the patients, and the community support. What it lost was the financial backing necessary to continue," said Astolfo. "Jeff Love built something worth preserving, and he never stopped fighting for it. I acquired Total Point because I know what this organization can become. We have an opportunity to rebuild it stronger, restore confidence, and deliver on the promises made to the communities we serve."

The Rebuild Is Underway

Total Point is making substantial progress toward restoring its operational footprint and establishing a sustainable foundation for long-term growth. Of its 27 locations across three states, approximately 20 leases have been secured throughout East Texas and the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex, with additional negotiations underway in San Antonio, Houston, East Texas, and Dallas–Fort Worth.

Alongside its reopening strategy, the organization is actively addressing outstanding financial and operational obligations inherited from its previous structure. With former investor obligations settled, Total Point is working directly with landlords, lenders, and vendors to reconcile balances, negotiate sustainable arrangements, and rebuild the business relationships essential to long-term success.

Each location will follow a phased reopening process centered on financial readiness, confirmed staffing, regulatory compliance, and operational accountability. The company's priority is not simply reopening facilities, but ensuring each location has the resources, personnel, and infrastructure necessary to operate consistently and responsibly. "A healthcare company is only as strong as the commitments it keeps," said Astolfo. "We recognize the challenges of the past, and we are working directly with our partners to resolve them. Our focus is on rebuilding trust, creating financial stability, and ensuring that every location reopens on solid ground."

Far More Than Urgent Care

While Total Point established its reputation through urgent care and emergency medical services, its next chapter will focus on developing a more comprehensive and integrated healthcare network.

Under Astolfo's leadership, the organization plans to expand its clinical offerings to include primary care, pediatrics, urgent care, freestanding emergency departments, surgical centers supported by partnering physicians and surgeons, personal injury care, pain management, medical aesthetics, and wellness services.

The expanded model is designed to connect essential medical services within a coordinated network, allowing patients to access a broader range of care while improving collaboration among physicians and specialists. From routine pediatric visits and preventive medicine to emergency treatment and specialized surgical procedures, Total Point aims to provide more comprehensive healthcare options closer to home.

A particular emphasis will be placed on rural and underserved communities, where limited access to medical providers and specialized services often requires patients to travel significant distances for treatment.

"Our vision goes far beyond reopening urgent care centers," said Astolfo. "We want to bring physicians, specialists, and essential medical services together in the communities that need them most. Patients deserve access to quality healthcare without having to travel hours to receive it."

Restoring Trust in the Communities We Serve

Before its closures, Total Point established strong relationships with patients throughout its network. That reputation was reflected in historical patient reviews, including a 5.0-star rating across 121 reviews in Nixa, Missouri; a 4.6-star rating across 58 reviews in Kilgore, Texas; and a 4.2-star rating across 114 reviews in DeSoto, Texas.

As facilities prepare to reopen, restoring that trust remains a central priority. Each location will be expected to meet defined operational readiness standards, including confirmed staffing, established operating hours, regulatory compliance, and accurate public-facing information. The organization is also implementing a renewed focus on communication, patient accessibility, and operational consistency. For Total Point, rebuilding trust means more than reopening doors. It means establishing a healthcare organization that consistently fulfills its commitments to patients, employees, physicians, and the communities it serves.

Proven Leadership. A Vision for Growth.

Astolfo brings more than two decades of experience in healthcare administration, hospital acquisitions, facility development, and operational turnarounds throughout Texas.

From 1999 to 2012, he held progressive leadership positions with Renaissance Hospitals, advancing from hospital marketing into administration. During that time, he directed marketing initiatives for an acquired surgical center in Humble, Texas, and contributed to the development and launch of Renaissance Hospital Dallas. Following the acquisition of the 102-bed Renaissance Hospital of Terrell, Astolfo led initiatives that increased surgical procedures by 50% and ambulance arrivals by 75% within six months. His subsequent leadership at Advanced Hospital & Clinics resulted in a 15% increase in surgical case volume and 25% growth in sales within a single year.

Beyond healthcare administration, Astolfo has demonstrated entrepreneurial success, having founded and grown a business to $1.1 million in annual revenue. Today, he leads Total Point alongside a core team of five professionals responsible for advancing the organization's financial, operational, and strategic priorities. The leadership and clinical teams will continue expanding as additional facilities reopen.

Building the Next Generation of Healthcare Partnerships

As part of its expansion strategy, Total Point is actively recruiting physicians, surgeons, and healthcare professionals across multiple specialties, including primary care, pediatrics, emergency medicine, surgery, pain management, and personal injury care.

The organization is seeking medical professionals interested in helping shape a growing healthcare network, developing clinical programs, and expanding access to medical services across Texas, Missouri, and Arkansas. Through coordinated physician partnerships, surgical facilities, and an integrated referral network, Total Point aims to create opportunities for providers to expand their practices while improving continuity of care for patients. "The physicians and surgeons who join us now will define what Total Point becomes," said Astolfo. "We are building more than a network of healthcare facilities. We are creating an organization where physicians have the opportunity to grow their practices, collaborate across specialties, and make a meaningful difference in the communities we serve."

Investment Opportunities and Strategic Growth

In conjunction with its operational rebuilding efforts, Total Point is pursuing strategic financial relationships to support facility reopenings, infrastructure improvements, clinical expansion, and long-term growth.

The company is engaged in discussions with banks, private investment groups, and institutional capital partners regarding potential financing and investment opportunities. With an established regional brand, a 27-location portfolio, approximately 20 secured leases, and plans to introduce additional medical specialties, Total Point is positioning itself for a phased return to operations supported by disciplined capital allocation and experienced healthcare leadership. The organization is also exploring opportunities with qualified individual investors and operators interested in participating in specific locations, subject to applicable agreements and regulatory requirements.

"Our objective is not simply to reopen 27 locations," said Astolfo. "It is to build a financially responsible, operationally sound healthcare organization that patients, physicians, employees, and communities can depend on for years to come."

Reopening dates will be announced individually as facilities complete the necessary staffing, licensing, regulatory, financial, and operational milestones.
